Another proof that it's been a good music autumn. This track is produced by Christian Beißwenger who 2005 released the catchy Clatterpillar. Haven't heard for him until now, but now he's back in better shape than ever.
Third Pulshar release at Spanish label Phonobox includes three remixes. Sven Weisemann takes the electro-indie tune Nospheratu and makes a Mojuba style dub out of it. I really like how he adds that sharp old Korg M1 sound to the atmospheric sound. Soultourist makes tech house out of Dub By The River, almost at the edge to progressive. Finally Above Smoke and Dubbyman goes deeep with Mr Money Man.
The releases this autumn have really been something. A bunch of new awesome deep house and dub techno stuff. Specially considering these two gems from Motor City Drum Ensemble, which is Danilo Plessow (one half of Inverse Cinematics). Raw house at its top. Quality all over!!
A more catchy pop/house tune comes from ex Hot Chip member Rob Smoughton. His alter ego Grovesnor's "Drive your car" is an excellent tune on it's own but becomes one of the best tunes of the year in Hot Chips remix hand. If you want the full vocal version check up Kitsune's new Maison Compilation.
Some hillabilly house which may sound a bit silly on paper but turns out to be one of the fattest track at date. Soulphiction delievers a deeper thing on the flip.
German Solé has released some really nice records at Mojuba. This time he teams up with Fine Art Recordings and the result is top notch! Toby Tobias delivers some remixes as well.
Follow up to the Shed thread. Another album, another banger. New Planet E release follows up all the promises Larkin's You Are... gave a couple of months ago.
The only way to get hold of Solomun's and John Daly's beautiful remixes of Marbert Rocel's Cornflake Boy / Cause You and is to download this Compost folder also including the more funky house record from Eddy Meets Yannah. But it's the Rocel record that does the deal.
DJ Koze delivers a wonderful remix of Mango, divided into two different parts. Makes magic at the floor, believe me. On the flip there is a Tobias Thomas and Superpitcher remix which makes this BPitch release an ace.
Follow up to the massive 'Kleine Nachtmusik' comes this piece from Freerange. Perhaps not as good but Martin Stimming always delivers some kinda delight.
Last years 'Got Thing', released on Philpot, still is one of my favourite tracks. In spring David Moufang released the incredible 'Drøne' on the dub techno label Modern Love. Now once again he shows us it ain't coincidences. 'Between Us' is released on the russian label Shanti (What's happening in Russia btw) Feel it!
I don't know how I missed this one. Released in April on Morris Audio, second track 'Never Again, a wonderful deep house gem. Sines' latest release, 'Thick Satin' is out on Frankie Rec with lovely Donk Boys remix. Enjoy!
